"Secret Wars Journal" #5

Written by horror writers Jen and Sylvia Soska with line art by Alec Morgan, this story takes place in the wasteland of Battleworld featuring a very different Night Nurse! Really loved working on these pages. Alec is a ton of fun.

HEROES CONVENTION 2015

I only get to a couple of cons a year and Heroes is simply amazing! I'll have comics and prints for sale. If you want something original, I'll have some original line art for sale too, do full color sketch cards, and even accept line art commissions (if anyone wants a drawing by a colorist). And for those of you that collect Star Wars trading cards, I'll have a few original TOPPS sketch cards I did for sale too.

"Insufferable" #2

The next collection of "Insufferable" is out! Written by Mark Waid with line art by Peter Krause, Galahad has pegged his own father and former partner, Nocturnus, as his mother's murderer. Also, this is one of my favorite covers I've ever done. Check out the color and line version at the bottom!

"X-TINCTION AGENDA" #1

Not long ago I posted about "X-Tinction Agenda" and my own personal memories with the original '90s comic event. Fast forward 25 years (in reality) and I'm coloring the story 10 years later (in comic time). Written by Marc Guggenheim and line art by Carmine Di Giandomenico, the first issue it out now!

"Insufferable" #1

A few years ago, I was coloring the Waidverse, "Irredeemable" and "Incorruptible", for Mark Waid at BOOM! Studios. Not long after those ended he began "Insufferable" as a digital comic through Thrillbent.com. Peter Krause, of "Irredeemable" credit, came on as the line artist. Well, IDW is now collecting the episodes for print and the first issue is out!

"All-New Captain America" Special #1

The finale to "Inhuman Error", written by Jeff Loveness and line art by Alec Morgan! Had a lot of fun on this issue because Alec's line is so open I was able to practice clean, simple coloring which I love to do.

"Inhumans Special" #1

Continuing "Inhuman Error", written by Jeff Loveness and line art by Ryan Lee, this issue gives you the back to Red Raven as already known from Marvel's golden age and then today in context of this story. How did the hero become the villain?

X-TINCTION AGENDA - REVISITED

Once upon a time, I had a personal subscription to UNCANNY X-MEN. I was a huge fan. UNCANNY X-MEN is what got me really into comics in my teenage years. Happily, I paid for 12 issues. Disappointingly, I received maybe half of them. The subscription was so unreliable I ended up buying the same issues from my comic shop. As it turns out, one of those issues was UNCANNY X-MEN #270, "X-Tinction Agenda" #1. So I have two copies of the original issue. The one on the left is the one I got from my comic shop. The one on the right is the one I received in the mail from my Marvel subscription. It's still sealed. Still has the mailer sheet. Pretty cool.

And I have all of the UNCANNY X-MEN and X-FACTOR "X-Tinction Agenda" issues. I know if I dug in my long boxes more I'd find the New Mutants issues too.

But why this post? Because today I am a Marvel colorist and today I started working on this.

Pretty fucking cool.

"Marvel Zombies" #1 Variant Cover

Here's a cover Greg Land drew and I colored as a variant for Secret Wars/Battleworld "Marvel Zombies" #1. I cannot stomach zombies (it's the eating-them-alive-cannibalism) but they are sure fun to color.

Here's a cover Greg Land drew and I colored as a variant to "The Avengers Ultron Forever" #1 for Cape Comic Con. Bringing back the classic Avengers!
